Hi,
I am tryin to install Oracle8i(Enterprise Edition) with Form 6i on Windows2000 Plateform.i installed Oracle8i and then after stopping ORacle Services i installed Form6i Sql prompt works perfectly but Form did not connect with Oracle with error message TNS:Could not resolve the service name.i donot know what should be the oracle&Developer Form6i Homes and thier Destinations.plz help me soon.

start your listner first!!.
and then use net8 configuration assistent to configure the servicename.
use this service name as the hostring when u login to you forms application
