Hai All,
In which situations, other then changes in three Cs, we use different SOB for different companies in the Group.
What are the advantages and disadvantages in using single SOB for multiple companies in the same group and individual SOB for individual companies in the same group and having another SOB for consolidation (again the assumption is there is no change in the three Cs)
Any practical experiance can be shared with example, please.

Hi,
One major impact of SOB is that it determines the reporting level and complexity of the business needs.
Based on the business needs and their reporting requirements, one could create single SOB to multiple SOB. What mostly matters is their maintenence.
So we normalize them.
